You are invited to join our long-standing fine arts organization. We were founded in 1917 by a group of 46 artists and arts patrons.
Today, we are proud to represent many of Indiana’s finest visual artists in all media. Twice a year, we exhibit the works of our artist members. In the autumn of each year we hold our Member Exhibition. All Active artists, including Associate members are invited to exhibit one work of art.
At our Annual Spring Exhibition, held each year at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, our Active artist members are eligible to enter works for juried selection and merit prizes.
Our Associate membership is open to all residents of Indiana who are seriously interested in supporting the arts.
Our Artist members must have been born or lived in Indiana for the past two consecutive years and have been accepted into three different sponsored exhibitions. A favorable approval by the Committee and a jury upon submitted works is required before one can become an Artist member.
